The last few days of Jakarta

Its been a great holiday but soon we will have to go so I am trying to spend the most time playing and staying awake. Evie is going crazy with sour Sally we have been eating it all week, she said that she wanted to eat it every day until we went home ( I am getting kind of sick of sour Sally but I still love it).

On New Years night we went to a cool buffet called Shabu Shabu. While we were waiting for a table I saw a funny restraunt called Fook Yew, my auntie said the food there is very yummy. There were giant bowls of soup  on our tables this is because we were going to cook the meat and veges in the soup. We then went to the buffet to choose some things too cook, I chose fishballs and a bunch of veges to make the soup sweet. My mum ordered a whole stack of meat to cook. It only takes a few seconds to cook so i already ate a lot of meat in 3 minutes. We finished off with 23 stacks of meat  but the boys ate 40 stacks (Wow!!!). It was an amazing dinner and after that we got chocolate ice-cream from the desert bar (Yay!!).

Its the last day of our holiday and i am trying to make the most of it. Today is Joshed birthday so My mom and Joey made a Marble cake with chocolate ganashe for the icing it really gave josh a surprise and it was so good. it even had a little wooden turtle on it. My mom bought a turtle called Michelangelo for Josh as a birthday present he was so small.

Our last lunch in Jakarta was really nice too because they had yummy duck noodles and soup, I slurped the soup down really fast and I made a loud slurping noise ' SLURRP!!!'

After lunch we headed to the airport, we all sang "Sing" songs in the car the whole time. Once we have arrived we all quickly said goodbye, I felt very sad that we were leaving because it has been an amazing trip ' Goodbye Jakarta'. I waved goodbye on the plane and on the plane i just watched a bunch of episodes from Modern Family.

Colette and Lola

Today went to a cut little cake shop called Colette and Lola. When we walked into the shop I was amazed by all the beautiful colours, macaroon towers, mini cake displays and colourful decorations hanging on the walls. My Uncle Steven asked which cake we wanted so we chose the a nice looking White cake ( rainbow cake with white icing ), Chocolate mouse cake, A reindeer kit kat cake and a Strawberry yogurt cake. They were all delicious but my favourite one is the chocolate mouse cake because the other ones were a bit to sweet I shared the mini cake with Tabitha. After that we were all stuffed and Tabitha and Evie went into full sugar mode. Luckily we left the shop before they asked for more cake and went to the coffee shop so the adults could enjoy a treat too.

Late christmas dinner

Once we came back from Jogjakarta we planned to make a late christmas dinner with my auntie, uncle and their kids Tasha and Michelle. Uncle Steven was making stuffed chicken and my mum was making yummy salad with my delicious sesame seed dressing. Then we made some delicious crunchy potatoes and I made some yummy japanese cotton soft cheesecake. Andrew also made some yummy guacomole for a snack.  When everyone came including my other uncle we all ate the delicious dinner prepared by uncle Stephen and my parents. i especially loved the potatoes but my mum would't allow me too eat to many. Then when it was desert everybody said my cake was very nice and soft. All of us kids when to joey's room to play we kind of went crazy and tied Tasha to a chair and then Andrew took her phone and then Joey tried putting it in the water but luckily he only put the cover. We all said goodbye to everybody after we all played it was an amazing night with a delicious dinner.
