Queenstown holiday

When I am not eating or cooking, my other love is skiing well honestly, that comes after reading, netball and giving my mum fashion tips. Still ranks up in my top 10 list though.

So this winter, grandma decided to give us all a BIG treat and took us to Queenstown for the weekend. Needless to say food was involved. Cookie time, oh my, if they did a check list of how often we went in there to try out the cookies, they would charge us. Their cookies and hot chocolate are super duper yummy.

A trip to Queenstown won't be complete without a trip to Ferg's burger! So, so juicy and delicious! Definitely worth the queue.

Christmas - Yeah! My favourite time of the year

Christmas is always a special time of the year for me.  Why? The food of course and the presents.

We love to cook up a storm every Christmas.  Dad would be slaving in the kitchen with his roast turkey,  mum would be busy making her once a year Berrimisu and us kids well, we are just there to eat and rip up presents.

Last year our mum decided to make a new tradition and that is to make presents for our friends.  What is better to our friends than present a made by us and what better gifts than food!

So what did we do, we went through recipe books after recipe books and found super yummy Christmas treats to make for everyone.

The Beginning

Hello, my name is Therese. I love to cook and eat. Basically, I just love, love food. My mum said my love for food started the moment I started eating solids at 6 months old. I would eat anything and everything even if it fell on the floor.  5 second rule.

I started learning to cook from watching my mum, dad and grandma.  My family loves to eat and cook. Our weekends are all about cooking and baking. We love trying out new recipes. My dad is the champion of pasta and my mum is the baking queen. My brother when he doesn't annoy me is the dessert prince and my baby sister is my little sous chef.

My favorite chefs are Nadia Lim and Matilda Ramsay. Ok ok, I love Matilda's dad too, the great Gordon Ramsay.
